Todd Trzaskos is a co-founder of PlanGen, LLC , President since 2008 and previously served as VP of Operations. PlanGen engineers, develops and hosts enterprise and business class Web Applications for national insurance carriers, brokers, and agencies which actively promote advanced martkets pension & benefit plans.
Todd is responsible for the business processes involved in the development, application engineering and web site interface design for the N-Tier systems that PlanGen provisions. The system is built on Microsoft “.NET” framework technology and utilizes C#, HTML, DHTML, TSQL, JavaScript and jQuery implementations of JSON, HTML, CSS and XML interacting with a SQL Server database core. E-commerce integration engineering to PayPal for real-time payments and Instant Payment Notification server-to-server communications via .NET and SQL Server.
Todd leads the strategic planning of platform, module and feature design to meet and stay ahead of market demands. He also manages the complex process of translating IRS Code and actuarial intelligence into the business logic and systems which drive PlanGen's advanced planning tools.
Dot.Com Boom:
Todd is a veteran of the "Dot.Com boom" of the late 1990s-early 2000s having been the Quality Assurance Engineer and Web Production Manager at MeansBusiness.com (R.I.P.) - Forbes "Best of the Web 2001, 2002" and Knowlege Management's "Top 100 companies to watch".
Web Develoment & Tech Support:
Prior to the Dot.Com era Todd worked independently as a small business IT consultant in Vermont, did project work developing databases in the context of Town Planning and Zoning, and eventually became the Web Development Manager at Trafalgar Square Publishing in 1996. At the time, Trafalgar was America's largest importer of books from the UK with several thousand titles in the catalog. Todd developed an early version of a database generated website to make the entire list available online, and leveraged the same technology to facilitate electronic data interchanges with large vendors such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Vermont Wine Media:
Todd is the Founder (2008) of Vermont Wine Media, an independent wine consulting and promotions firm. Vermont is nationally recognized for having a highly developed wine consumption and culinary market. Vermont is now also becoming known as a quality leader in cold-hardy grape wine production.

Shobu Aikido Vermont:
Todd is a founding member of Shobu Aikido Vermont, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to teaching the traditional Japanese martial practice of Aikido. He has been consistently studying Aiki since 1989, trains under the guidance of Mitsugi Satome Shihan ( Aikido Schools of Ueshiba ) and William Gleason Shihan ( Shobu Aikido Boston ), holds a 6th Degree Black Belt, has been leading classes since 1995, and became Senior Instructor in 2003.

Todd holds a B.A. in Philosophy and an M.S.L. degree in Environmental Law.
