Twenty-one years in the Marine Corps and twenty years experience in management of challenging positions related to government contracts; have exceptional abilities to be highly organized within a team environment and meticulous when dealing with the details of meeting deadlines and budgets. Over the past ten years accepted management positions of projects that had previously failed or were considered very challenging to complete.
While in the U.S. Marine Corps identified, scheduled, and coordinated funding requirements, personnel, and equipment. Budgets for these requirements were in excess of $5 million annually. Official U.S. Marine Corps representative on eleven imagery-related government committees and working groups addressing such issues as R&D, security policies, management, and equipment acquisition. While stationed at Headquarters Marine Corps provided numerous classified intelligence briefings to senior military officers. I was a Marine Corps Drill Instructor at Parris Island, South Carolina for three years.
Retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1990, where I handled million dollar contracts in support of purchasing required classified equipment. I spent 10 years as a contractor with the Department of Defense. In 2000 I formed my own company and obtained a $20 million contract with the U.S. Census Bureau in support of the 2010 census.
During 2009 and 2010 led a team of contractors to Iraq for Congressionally mandated classified project. The project had been assigned to two teams in previous years and had failed to be completed. Project completed under budget and three months early.
